How ekhasra works

Five steps from install to your first locked gata. Once the eKhasra session is captured (step 3), each gata is three taps and a confirmation.

1

Install the APK

Download from the Download page. Android will ask you to allow installs from this source — accept. The app appears in your launcher as "ekhasra".

2

Sign in with Google

One tap. We use your Google account to sync your credit balance across phones — so you can use the app on your office desktop browser AND a field phone with the same wallet.

3

Sign in to the eKhasra portal

Tap "Sign in to eKhasra" on the Home screen. The official rccms.up.gov.in login opens in an embedded browser; type your password and OTP as usual. Once the dashboard loads, tap into the eKhasra section — the app captures your session automatically and closes the browser.

4

Pick a village + start the survey

Tap "Start Survey". The app fetches your halka's villages and your latest fasal year. Pick a village; the gata list loads from the portal API.

5

Fill each gata in a few taps

Tap a gata → confirm → the app runs Non-Agri → Avashesh → Fallow → Lock against the eKhasra API. A small spinner shows the step in progress. On success: the gata flips to "Locked ✓" and 1 credit is deducted. Move to the next gata. Repeat.

Using two phones / multiple villages

The same Google account on two phones gives them the same credit balance. If you accidentally lock the same gata from both phones, the second report is recognised as a duplicate — you're charged only once. Across villages and halkas: the portal limits you to your assigned halka, and within that you can switch villages freely in the survey UI.
